IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PILOTS:
Please take a few minutes to review this critical safety of flight information prior to your departure for KMRH.
NOTAM: The SEBS Fly-In weekend, AOPA Fly-In, and our destination airport, KMRH, is covered by a NOTAM. You’ll need to download and review the AOPA NOTAM which is available at http://www.aopa.org/Community-and-Events/AOPA-Fly-In/2016/Beaufort-Fly-In. Look at the “How to get here/where to stay” selection, and you’ll see you can download a Pilot Information Packet and another box lets you download only the NOTAM. Carefully review the entire Pilot Information Packet and NOTAM. You can watch a video of how the arrivals work. That video is on the right side of the AOPA KMRH webpage.
IMPORTANT: If my arrival is on Thursday, aren’t we outside the NOTAM window? Yes, however, Cherry Point ATC will use SEBS arrivals to rehearse the NOTAM procedures. So you MUST be prepared to fly them.
FUEL: KMRH (Beaufort, NC). Southern Air (Crystal Coast Aviation) is the event FBO. There are no parking/overnight fees and the fuel discount is mentioned in the Pilot’s Information Packet. You’ll be asked for your fuel order upon arrival. The SEBS Thursday arrival fuel discount is $0.75. Outside Thursday? See the Pilot Information Packet.
PARKING: SEBS members arriving on Thursday can expect to park, largely as a group, west of the Rwy 14-32 and Rwy 3-21 intersection ALONG Rwy 14-32. You will be marshalled by the FBO personnel. Expect to push back perpendicular to the edge of the runway. If you are arriving in our normal “block”, a SEBS volunteer will be there to greet and assist you to our vans and onward to the hotel. You should bring chocks and tie-downs

Special Offer:
KMQI (Dare County Regional Airport) would like to invite any SEBS members to make the short hop to the Outer Banks to KMQI before or after the AOPA event. At this time KMQI has very competitive fuel prices. Our full service (fuel truck) price is usually 50 cents more than our SS, but we will service SEBS member aircraft from the truck for SS prices during the week of the AOPA event and the week following. If some members wish to fly up and visit the Wright Brothers Monument or any other attractions or spend a night in the area, we hope this makes the stop more efficient. Just tell the FBO you are a SEBS member, and they will service you at the SS price.
Sincerely,
Charles Davidson
